Basic Phlebotomy Skills Course University of Bradford Staff & Students Description***If you are a PHD student at University of Bradford please email [email protected] for further information*** The Basic Phlebotomy Course covers the theory behind phlebotomy and provides participants with an opportunity to develop their practical skills. It is delivered by Phlebotomy Training Services: the first company in the UK to hold an accredited certificate. No previous experience is required for this course.
The course covers all of the competencies set out in CHS132 (National Occupational Standard for Phlebotomy). PTS use safety equipment in all of their training in accordance with the requirements of the Health and Safety (Sharp Instruments in Healthcare Regulations) 2013. Once you have completed this training you will have all of the skills and knowledge necessary to be able to work as a phlebotomist.
