Detailed Description

Syllabus to include 

  • CPR
  • First aid
  • Theory
  • Spinal
  • Aquatic

 

During the course you will be expected to show a certain level of swimming competency, this will include: 

  • Jump / dive into deep water 
  • Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds 
  • Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back 
  • In deep water, tread water for 30 seconds
  • Tread water for 30 seconds 
  • Surface dive to the floor of the pool 

In order to gain certificate you must:

 

  • Attend the whole course
  • Pass the practical assessment
