Description

We have received the sad news that Emeritus Professor Diana Anderson has passed away. Diana recently retired from her role as Chair of Biomedical Sciences after 25 years at the University of Bradford. Her career spanned both industry, including ICI, and academia, including authoring over 500 publications and supervising 33 PhD students to completion. Diana was awarded a British MBE in 2022 and won the English Women’s Award North for Services to Science and Technology in 2018 and the Frits Sobels award in 2023.
